“GIVE UNTIL IT HURTS” – MS. OSEI-TUTU URGES STUDENTS OF LEGACY GIRLS COLLEGE

Ms. Theresa Osei-Tutu, Managing Director of THCLR Ghana Limited, has urged the students of Legacy Girls College (LGC) “to give until it hurts.”

Using her personal philosophy of ‘Giving until it hurts’, she encouraged students of Legacy Girls’ College to work towards living meaningful lives and putting 100% passion and effort in everything that they do.

Further in her presentation, Ms. Osei-Tutu talked about the attributes of being accomplished, which revolved around faith, family, finances, intellectual, social, physical and the mental state of every person. She encouraged the girls to seek balance in all these areas. “There is no short cut to success,” she added.

In addition, she led the students through the intricacies of dining etiquette and gave students the opportunity to practically engage with dining crockery and glassware. This session heightened the need for the young ladies to be open to new experiences, read wide and be knowledgeable enough to adapt to new situations.

Mrs. Essie Anno Sackey, Co-founder of Legacy Girls College used the opportunity to call on parents to enroll their wards in Legacy Girls College, located in Akuse, to give them the opportunity of having a well rounded education.

Ms. Osei-Tutu has been a consultant for The World Bank, UNDP, Women’s Vision International, amongst others, and she is another Accomplished Lady to participate in these series.

Legacy Girls’ College holds Time with Accomplished Ladies every other Wednesday, and this forms part of the school’s enhanced curriculum designed to develop students to be competent confident and caring women. These fortnight programmes are designed to teach the students how to make a mark and leave a legacy in society, as is the motto of the school.
